Selfhood and Strangeness: Defining Identity and Reality Through Fantastic and Surreal Theater

My undergraduate Honors Thesis investigates how fantastic and surreal theater affects audiences’ views of reality and the self, utilizing research in theatrical analysis, sociology, psychology, critical theory, and history, as well as applied practice in my direction of Anna Bella Eema by Lisa D’Amour. It was awarded High Honors for Outstanding Academic Achievement in the field of Theater by Wesleyan University. It is available to read on the school’s Digital Collections Website, which you can access by clicking here.
